Last year when doing the Science Fiction Romance challenge, I read the first book in Sara Creasy's Scarabaeus series. While the world building was complicated, and the mix between romance and science fiction just enough to steal the hearts of both romance readers, and the hard sci-fi readers. The second installment of the Scarabaeus series comes out April 1st, and I have to say... I am exciting to see where Edie and Finn end up on their next adventure.
Edie Sha'nim believed she and her bodyguard lover, Finn, could find refuge from the tyranny of the Crib empire by fleeing to the Fringe worlds. But Edie's extraordinary cypherteck ability to manipulate the ecology of evolving planets makes her far too valuable to lose.
